Revive ("we", "us", or "our") provides a mobile health and wellness application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the Revive app and reviveapp.org (collectively, the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, email address, password.
  • Health metrics: heart rate variability (HRV), sleep stages and duration, steps, heart rate, VO2 Max, calories, and related biometric data.
  • Wearable data: data synced from your Oura Ring (via the Oura API) and Apple Health (via Apple HealthKit).
  • Activity logs: workouts you complete, meals you log, and daily check-ins.
  • Community content: posts, comments, and reactions you create within the Revive community.
  • Device & usage data: device type, OS version, app interactions, and crash logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to deliver personalized health plans, generate daily recovery and readiness scores, power AI coaching, provide community features, send notifications you opt into, and improve the Service.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following providers to operate Revive:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and storage.
  • Oura Ring API — to sync wearable data you authorize.
  • Apple HealthKit — to read health data you grant permission to.
  • Expo — to deliver push notifications.
  • OpenAI — to power the AI Coach feature.

4. Data Security

Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest through our infrastructure provider, Supabase. Access is restricted to authorized personnel and protected by industry-standard controls.

5. Your Rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. To exercise these rights, email privacy@reviveapp.org.

6. Sharing & Selling

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Health data is never shared without your explicit consent, except as required by law.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After deletion, your data is purged from production systems within 30 days.

8. Children

Revive is not intended for users under the age of 16.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email.
